5th Grade Leader of the Week

Our final Leader of the Week brings Jesus’s words in John 15:5 to mind, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit.” This was her first year at Strong Rock, and we are so glad she joined us! She has worked hard to meet academic expectations, and her growth is evident! She has a quick wit, is joyful, and loyal friend to many. Our Leader of the Week is Kam Isaac!

Parents' Night Out – New School Year Orientation

As the new school year approaches, Strong Rock Christian School is excited to invite both new and returning parents to a special event designed to help families prepare for the year ahead and connect with one another. Parents' Night Out – New School Year Orientation will take place on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Strong Rock Gymnasium.

This unique event will give parents an opportunity to hear directly from leadership and P3, get important updates about the school, and prepare for the upcoming school year. Whether you are new to Strong Rock or have been with us for years, this event is designed to make sure you feel informed, connected, and ready for the year ahead.

What to Expect

Leadership Updates:
Parents will hear from Mr. Paul McCracken, Chief Executive Officer, who will share important updates about what’s new at Strong Rock, including campus improvements, upcoming events, and key initiatives. Additionally, you will hear about exciting updates from our Parents Partnering with Patriots (P3) organization.

Important Information and Resources:
Following the leadership update, parents can visit tables in the Multiplex with essential information about after-school care, athletic opportunities, volunteer options with P3, and more. This is also a chance to  sign up for school programs, and meet administration. Light bites and refreshments will be provided.

Annual Fund & Patriot Pass:
In addition to gathering important information, parents will have the chance to support the Annual Fund by purchasing a Patriot Pass for their child. The Patriot Pass will allow students to wear jeans, a Strong Rock spirit shirt, and/or tennis shoes on Fridays during the school year. For those that attend the event and also make a gift, they will be entered you into an exciting drawing for prizes, including family passes to all athletic and fine arts events, and a $250 iRock gift card.

Childcare:
For families with younger children, childcare will be available beginning at 6 p.m. for students enrolled in PreK–5th grade in the Blackbox theater. Pizza, popcorn, and water will be provided.

Why Attend?

  • Connection: Meet new families, reconnect with old friends, and strengthen your relationship with the school community.
  • Convenience: This event will replace many of the tasks typically done at Open House, giving you more time during that event to meet teachers and dive deeper into the classroom experience
  • Preparation: Leave feeling fully prepared for the upcoming school year with all the information you need.
