During the week of October 7 – 11, Kindergarten – 8th grade students will take the Core Iowa Assessments. The Core Iowa Assessments are large-scale achievement tests that assess students’ skills in Reading, Language, and Mathematics. In the Spring, students will take the Complete Iowa Assessments which are large-scale achievement tests that assess students’ skills in Reading, Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. The tests assess both foundation skills and higher-order thinking skills.
