Prayer Walk
Strong Rock Christian School believes in the power of prayer. We thank you for walking and praying over our campus. We hope this guide will be an inspiration in voicing your own prayers.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

We ask you dear Lord, to command your angels concerning Strong Rock, to guard each one who enters these gates in all of their ways (Psalm 91:11)
Lord, God, as we approach your throne in prayer, we acknowledge you as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You are sovereign overall and worthy to be praised. You say in James 5:16 the earnest prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available and is dynamic in its working. Thank you that you watch over your Word to perform it. (Jer. 1:12)
B. The Strong Rock Multiplex
Strong Rock: to follow Christ’s example and to remain true to its mission to nurture students “for God, for learning, forever.”
We, as intercessors, pour out our hearts like water before your face and lift our hands toward you for the lives of Strong Rock students and all here who touch their lives both directly and indirectly. (Lam.2:19)
Board of Trustees and Overseers: for wisdom and discernment as they make decisions and provide directions for the school.
We thank you for giving wisdom, knowledge and understanding. (Prov. 2:6)
C. Business Office / Administration Building
CEO Paul McCracken: for wisdom, discernment, kindness, integrity, understanding and honesty as he listens to hear concerns from faculty and families. Give him clear vision and direction so he will know what to do and how do to it.
Lord, bless Mr. McCracken and his family and keep them; make your face shine upon them and be gracious to them; may you show favor to them and give them peace. (Num. 6:24-26)
President and Director of Missions David Mann: for direction as he leads the missional focus of our school and protects from doctrinal drift.
Lord, bless Mr. Mann and we boldly ask that you will clothe him with you, Lord, and help him as he makes decisions to help our staff, faculty and students to remember your great commission to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything you have commanded in your Word (Matt. 28:19-20).
D. High School Hall
Principals and Assistant-Principals: that they may be good stewards of time, talents, and energy as they manage the affairs of the school, strengthen the campus, and administer policies and programs.
Faculty: that they research, write, and instruct with a passion for learning, and that they impart wisdom and encouragement to their students.
School Staff: that they offer encouragement to students in abundance and find their strength to the challenges their work brings.
Thank you, Lord, that you bless these men and women in their work as they find wisdom and gain your understanding (Prov. 3:13).
E. Cafeteria
SAGE Staff: that they would serve joyfully and be an encouragement to our students and faculty as they utilize their gifts to honor the Lord.
Lord, you sent your Son, who came not to be served but to serve (Matt. 20:28). Bless our SAGE staff as they provide service to others; that with wisdom, patience, and courage, they may minister in Your name.
F. Academy Hall
Worship & Arts Team: that the ministries, staff, and students lead and mentor with wisdom and sensitivity and lead worship and chapels to nurture the faith of students.
Small Groups: that student facilitators gain wisdom and discernment as they lead Bible studies monthly, that groups grow in Christ.
Chapel Services: that weekly chapel and other worship events held will be God-centered and God ordained.
Oh, Lord, our Rock and Redeemer, as our campus community attends chapel and other services here, may the words of their mouths and the meditations of their hearts be pleasing and acceptable to you (Psalm 19:14). Remind us that our greatest blessing comes when we take the focus off ourselves and put it entirely on you in worship and praise.
G. Football Stadium / Patriot Park
Athletes: that they grow spiritually through their sports, be honorable in their actions, and be protected in their travel, preparation, and participation.
Lord, we thank you that you will send angels to encamp and protect our athletes who fear you (Psalm 34:7). Help our athletes to be strong and courageous; not to fear or be dismayed.(1 Chron. 22:13).
H. The Puppet Theater
Clubs and Organizations: that the students of our programs will be well-equipped for their careers and find endurance and wisdom as they further their education.
As we are drawn toward the sound of moving water in this fountain, remind us of your Word that says the fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, and reveal this to our students (Prov. 14:27).
I. Gymnasium
Fine Arts: that the artists among us who steward Your gifts through visual expression, uphold Your beauty as fine arts performers and all who are called to create, to paint, to play, to move, to act.
Lord, may they find joy in their work and may it fill them with peace, comfort, and purpose. Fill them with Your light and love as they generously share their gifts. Lord, let all creation sing Your praise and the host make music in Your presence. Bless each performer as only You can and allow them to use whatever gifts they have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of Your grace (1 Peter 4:10).
J. Elementary Hall / The Learning Lab
Students: that each grows in knowledge, faith, and wisdom and that their skills and leadership will grow to glorify God as they serve others on campus.
Lord, thank you for providing the Adam’s family with this magnificent vision that is Strong Rock. Please help our students remember that the heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out (Prov. 18:15). While we stand in the center of campus, we ask you to keep our students and employees in the center of your will. We pray their relationships with you, Father, will grow, and they will seek your will for their lives. (Phil. 1:9-10).
K. The Courtyard
Strong Rock Families: that the relationships between students and their families develop and deepen as students transition into adulthood.
We pray that God will richly satisfy, renew, and give wisdom to all parents as they enter and navigate family life. We are thankful, Lord, that our students honor their mothers and fathers (Eph. 6:2) and listen to their wise instruction and teaching (Prov. 1:8). Lord in this place, we are reminded You are the Living Water, and we ask that if any student or staff member is thirsty, You will draw them to Yourself to drink (John 7:30). We know this water You give will become, in them, a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:14).
L. Elementary Conference Room
The Leadership Team: that they will lead with humility and wisdom and not grow weary in their position in bringing about unity and direction for our staff, faculty, and families.
Lord, all authority is Yours, but You have given authority to leaders to protect and guide us. Today, we ask that You give all our leaders wisdom, discernment, strength, and resolve. Keep them healthy, safe, and rested so that they can continue to guide us (Prov. 3:5-10).
M. The Family Room
Strong Rock Alumni: that the graduates be encouraged by the faithfulness of God and their education from Strong Rock as they look for employment and make early adulthood decisions and that they share the Gospel in their communities and professions around the world.
Lord, we trust you to supply all their needs because you own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We pray that financial restraints will never hinder a student from using their life and resources to honor you.
N. Elementary Flagpole
Local Churches and Pastors: that the leaders focus on Christian community, spiritual growth, and a commitment to missions and that their ministries, worship, and services enhance the spiritual life of our community and the lives of Strong Rock students and families.
Lord, help our students, families, and community desire to be in the house of the Lord (Psalm 112:1) and want to fellowship with other believers (Heb. 10:25).
First Responders: that you would give strength to all those who are there for us in times of crisis, fear, and hurt.
Father, please protect those who respond to us in some of the most desperate moments of our life. Give courage to the first responders who continue to do this important work they are called to do, looking beyond the risk for the sake of those who need your help and protection (Isaiah 61:1).
Veterans: that you will bless them for their unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safety, and our country’s heritage, for all of us.
Lord, thank you for those who put themselves in harm’s way to protect and secure our country and each person‘s rights. Through their love for freedom and for others, they’ve given the gift of freedom with their lives. (Gal. 5:13)
Active military: that You watch over and protect our nation’s military members and their families. Sustain them and take them into your most gracious protection.
Father, thank you for the men and women who are actively serving and put themselves in a position of humility. We are able to live as people who are free because of their service (1 Peter 2:16-17). Keep each family in our country safe and meet all their needs according to your riches in Christ Jesus.
The United States of America: that leaders would seek you in every decision and that the people would turn from their wicked ways and seek You 2 Chron. 7:14).
Father, thank you for our country. Thank You that we have government representatives who believe Your truth. Remind them to seek Your guidance as they make decisions that affect our country and world. Send them godly wisdom and good counselors. Thank you for allowing us to live in a place where we have the freedom to worship you and tell others of you. Please move in our country so that more would know the freedom that is in Jesus (John 3:16-17).
Thankfulness: for God’s blessings on Strong Rock Christian School and the continuation of His kingdom work in this place.
God, as we conclude this prayer walk, we are in awe of what you have done at Strong Rock Christian School and give you thanks with our whole hearts as we recount all of your wonderful deeds (Psalm 9:1). We thank you because you are good, and your steadfast love endures forever (1 Chron. 16:34). We enter your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise. We bless your name (Psalm 100:4). Thank you, Lord, that your Word never returns void, and that it is powerful and effective (Isa. 55:11). Thank you that you highly favor Strong Rock Christian School. We ask you to bless this school, our students, our families, and employees abundantly and immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20).
Amen.
