Mini-Mester
At Strong Rock Christian School, we believe that our calling is to impact the world for Jesus Christ – The Strong Rock. Mini-Mester is a chance for our students to put into practice all that they have been learning in the classroom, chapel, on the ball field and in the arts. Mini-Mester is the ultimate field trip for SRCS Academy/High School students.
Mini-Mester will provide our students the opportunity to choose from international travel, local missions, college tours, courses and much more. God has gifted our students in many different ways, and we believe Mini-Mester is a key component in helping them experience something new as they serve others in the name of Christ.
The Academy/High School MiniMester meeting will be on August 26th in the gymnasium immediately following Curriculum Night. The list of trip offerings and in-school options can be found above.
MiniMester trip deposits will be accepted at the meeting on August 26 in the form of online payments, check or cash. A deposit indicates a student’s interest in a particular trip but does not indicate acceptance on the team. Each Strong Rock team leader will publish the approved list of participants on September 3rd. If a student is not named on the approved list, the deposit can be transferred to another team for consideration by the team leader or refunded. Once an approved list is published, there will be no opportunities to change teams without losing the deposit and any other payments unless a trip is canceled by Strong Rock.
The MiniMester meeting will offer trip tables where questions can be answered and additional information will be available. Students will have until Friday, August 30th to place their names on a trip waiting list in order to be considered for selection.
