This week's Patriot Praise winners are Bethel Claire Haley (6th), Holden Taylor (7th), and Lane Adams (8th).
The varsity girls lacrosse team won the GIAA State Championship this weekend. This is our third year of a girls lacrosse team at SRCS, and our first girls team to win State. After trailing 1–6 at the start, they came back and won during the final 10 seconds of overtime.
Strong Rock Elementary School is proud to congratulate fifth-grade teacher Mandy Colwell on receiving a prestigious national award. The Stanley M. Herzog Charitable Foundation has selected Colwell as one of only twelve educators nationwide to receive its 2026 Teacher of the Year honor. Colwell was chosen from among hundreds of applicants across the country.

Our final Leader of the Week brings Jesus’s words in John 15:5 to mind, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit.” This was her first year at Strong Rock, and we are so glad she joined us! She has worked hard to meet academic expectations, and her growth is evident! She has a quick wit, is joyful, and loyal friend to many. Our Leader of the Week is Kam Isaac!
