The mission of Strong Rock Christian School is to glorify God and partner with families in educating and inspiring their children to impact the world for Jesus Christ – The Strong Rock.
The purpose of the Center for Missions and Leadership is to provide leaders who teach the love of Jesus through local, national, and international mission trips; host nationally recognized leadership seminars and conventions; and, whose facility serves as an instructional site for local and international missionaries.
Goals for the Center for Missions and Leadership include: ministering to Strong Rock faculty, staff, students and parents, hosting local, national, and international mission trips for all grades. It also involves inviting local, national, and international missionaries, Christian entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders to be involved in a mentoring program where they spend time on campus with individuals or groups of students.
Students will have opportunities to spend time traveling or working with a mentor, in order to create the opportunity to hear God’s calling to serve in the field of missions, or to hear God’s calling to make the marketplace their mission field. In addition, Strong Rock is leading weekly chapel services to foster a personal relationship with Jesus Christ so that the Word of God can be taught and practically applied to daily living.
